New Realities - paintings by Fredrick Hays

Born in 1956 in Falling Rock, WV, Fred was gifted an oil paint set at the age of eight by a recently widowed neighboring farmer. This inheritance led to a childhood, and ultimately, lifetime dedication to art.

Featuring Hay’s distinct style of exaggerated color, movement and light, the 30 paintings in this collection explore our region’s complicated relationships with nature, history and with each other.
