Taylor Books Café is more than your average coffee house. Ann Saville, our owner and baker, wakes at 5:30am every day and begins to stir up a cloud of flour. There is always something delicious in our pastry case. Many customers routinely call in to place an order for a dozen scones or muffins. This type of fanfare is something we’re accustomed to, with a number of regulars greeting us every morning as we open up for a cup of coffee and a fresh baked breakfast pastry. After baking and clean up, Ann and café staff can be found next to a steaming soup pot fixing fresh made salads and sandwiches for our lunch crowd.
There is ample space and seating for customers to meet with business associates, friends, family members, clubs and groups, or to find a nice spot to settle in all by yourself.
